Heheh. A couple of freedom fighters on their way back from a round of badnik-bashing. Fleetway/STC, of course.
Sonic, who is explaining- yet again- the 'right' way to smash a badnik trooper, and my 'fanchar' Shade, who has heard it all before. Not that he needs any advice from the arrogant blue one anyway! The pic probably has more relevance if you know Shade's true background, but... well... that'd be giving my fanfics away
Also, this pic is set slightly in the future of my fic continuity- which is why the troopers have returned, and Sonic's grown his quills a bit.
Sonic's quills and Shade's quiff look kind of wierd here- his hair usually sticks forward *cough*mullet*cough* - as I was trying to make it look like the wind was blowing it back. (hence Sparky the chao having trouble keeping upright....
). And Shade's colouring is a bit off... it's kind of hard not making his hair colour too similar to his muzzle etc. Ah well. But I'm pleased with the way Sonic came out,and the trooper head, which I usually can't draw too well.
